Commissions.

 

I can be commissioned to create something memorable, maybe a treasured memory from a family holiday or a wildlife portrait, are just two examples of what can be commissioned.  (Please note, I don't do people portraits), however,  most things are possible. Just email me with your ideas on: dondonsdoodles@gmail.com 

Once ideas are confirmed, just pay for your chosen size and await for delivery, which will be confirmed by email. 

Commissioned artworks will be charged for Special Delivery from Royal Mail, this insures it and is tracked and signed for on delivery, this is currently £14.75 for small/medium artworks up to 40cms square. Thank you. 

*If you require postage outside of the UK, this will be discussed in your email.

Here you can see some previous commissions, so you can see how varied my artwork can be. Everything from wildlife and pet portraits, seascapes, a teddy bear for a nursery, abstract for something different and even sea glass art! They can also be printed onto quality household items such as mugs, as shown.

Terms and conditions for commissions. 

 

Please read the following terms and conditions:

 All artworks are purchased through the 'commissions' section in the menu and paid in full, before any artwork is created. Only when payments are made, can work begin. Payments are taken securely through Stripe. 

1. To book, email the artist on: dondonsdoodles@gmail.com

This is where it will be discussed in detail what you require with regards to subject matter, size, medium used, time scale and price. Once agreed, then payment is required in full via the payment buttons indicated above.  

2. All artwork is original and created by the artist.

3. All copyright, media use and reproduction rights are all retained by the artist.

4.  Any reproduction or similar use of the artwork must be agreed with the artist in advance.

5. Bookings are not confirmed until payments have been made in full. 

6. Once completed, the artist will send an image or part image of the completed artwork, to confirm satisfaction, before posting.

7. The artist will ask you to provide at least 3 photographs of your own in order for them to get an idea of what it is that you want in your artwork. In this case, providing photographs for your own piece of artwork in the understanding that the images are not copied, only used by the artist as they see fit to create a unique piece of artwork. Please make sure that they are clear images. Providing the photographs for your own artwork, you are also forgoing the photographers fee and will not receive royalties for the use of your photographs for your own artwork. When photographs are required, the artist will ask in writing, to avoid any confusion. If you send the artist any photographs that haven't been asked for, even if you think they may be a good subject to paint and even if they then use them  to create a piece of artwork, then in this case you forgo your photographers fee and royalties. If you offer any photographs for free to be used by the artist for their artwork, then they remain free, you can not expect to receive royalties for use of the photographs afterwards. 

8. The artist has the right to refuse any work for any reasons, including, but not limited to people, pornography, drugs, violence and illegal or political views.

9. Clients are responsible for any /all custom charges and fees and other charges incurred from shipping or postage.

10. Once bookings are confirmed with payments made in full, then the artwork is considered bespoke and personalised, so, therefore, is exempt from the usual 14 day cooling period and non returnable and a refund will not be issued, unless the artwork has been damaged in transit and proof will be required for insurance purposes.
