Association Of Animal Artists (AAA)

This year's chosen charity chosen by the AAA is:

Wild Welfare.

Founded in 2012, Wild Welfare is a UK registered charity working globally to improve welfare for wild animals living in captivity. It is the first captive wild animal charity that is solely focused on improving NGO's and captive wildlife facilities, such as zoo's, aquariums and sanctuaries around the world.

I have always been an animal lover and being apart of this amazing association is such an honor.

'Fancy A Paddle...'

This is my first wildlife painting in acrylic, using palette knives, as well as brushes. This featured in my first solo exhibition in February and March 2025, in Kidderminster. This has proved to be one of my most popular artworks and has been printed onto household items, such as mugs, which are available to buy from my website. (Please look at Giftware Store on the menu. Thank you. ). I have been fortunate to see oystercatchers in the wild, whilst on holiday. These birds are cute, but noisy, such characters.

'Not All Black And White...'

This was my first wildlife portrait and it still remains one of my most popular pieces of artworks. It has now been printed onto quality giclee prints available from my website, (please look on Studio Shop in the menu. Thank you). It is also available from Mercia Fine Art Gallery. Created using pastels and pencils on black paper, this looks amazing in any contemporary space. It has been selected to take part in the Summer Exhibition at the Open Gallery in Halifax.

'Owl Fledgling...'

This cutie is pastel on black paper and was featured in my first solo exhibition in February and March 2025, in Kidderminster.

'On Our Way...'

This was one of the first pieces I created in the autumn of 2023 and it is drawn all in pencil. I was inspired when I saw dolphins out in the wild, whilst taking a boat trip on holiday in Cornwall. Such a wonderful experience.

'Please Help Me...'

This was created in the autumn of 2023. This was my first wildlife portrait in pastel. I was inspired from seeing seals out in the wild, from a boat trip, on holiday Cornwall. It was featured in my first solo exhibition in February and March 2025, in Kidderminster.

'Spirit Of Spring...'

This cute miniature was commissioned in spring 2024. A simple but elegant sketch on A5 pastelmat.

'Spring Is In The Air...'

This was created in the spring of 2024. A cute miniature painted in pastel on A5 pastelmat. It featured in my first solo exhibition in February and March 2025, in Kidderminster. Inspired by the importance of bees 🐝 and a gift of forget-me-nots given to me for mothers day. It has been selected to take part in the Summer Exhibition at the Open Gallery in Halifax.
