'Fancy A Paddle...'

Original artwork in acrylic on board, painted with palette knives as well as brushes. 

I've seen oystercatchers whilst on family holidays and thought they were such characters, I had to paint them. This one looks like he's having fun in the shallows, inviting you to join him for a paddle. I love the reflection too. 

This has been professionally framed and was amongst several other artworks as part of my first solo exhibition in 2025. It was also a finalist at the Artful Weasel Studio Gallery too.
